The Unistream B5 5" T42 PLC controller with HMI panel is a versatile device that combines the functionality of a programmable controller with an intuitive operator panel. Thanks to the integrated touchscreen, process visualization and device control become extremely simple and efficient.

Functionality and capabilities

This model offers 24 digital inputs (including 4 fast/encoder 90kHz), 2 analog inputs (0-10V or 0(4)-20mA) and 16 transistor outputs (including 2 PWM). Equipped with a 5-inch color touchscreen HMI with a resolution of 800x480 pixels, it enables the creation of clear and easy-to-use user interfaces. This provides quick access to process data and efficient device control.

The controller supports a wide range of communication protocols, such as Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, VNC Client/Server or MQTT Client, allowing for easy integration with other automation systems. Additionally, the ability to expand with EtherCAT, Modbus RTU or CANopen modules increases its flexibility and adaptation to specific application requirements.

Programming and configuration

The controller is programmed in the free UniLogic environment, which enables not only the creation of PLC logic, but also the design of HMI visualizations and the configuration of communication with other devices. This centralizes and simplifies the entire configuration process. Remote access via VNC allows for monitoring and controlling the machine without the physical presence of the operator.
