The PLC controller integrated with a Unistream B5 7” HMI panel is a versatile device that combines the functionality of a programmable controller and an intuitive operator panel. This is an ideal solution for applications requiring process visualization and effective control, especially where saving space in the control cabinet is important. The lack of built-in inputs/outputs does not limit the possibilities – the system can be easily expanded with I/O expansion adapters.

Functionality and flexibility

This model offers a wide range of communication options, including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP, VNC, and the ability to expand with protocols such as EtherCAT or CANopen. Programming is done in the free UniLogic environment, which allows simultaneous configuration of PLC logic, HMI interface design, and integration with other devices – drives and servo drives. This simplifies and makes the entire application creation process more efficient.

Construction and technical parameters

The device is characterized by a robust construction, resistant to harsh industrial conditions (IP66/IP65 from the front). It is equipped with a 7-inch TFT LCD touchscreen with a resolution of 800x480 pixels (WVGA) and a 16-bit color palette (65536 colors). The power supply can be realized with 12VDC or 24VDC voltage. Internal memory includes 512MB RAM and 1MB ROM. The ability to expand memory with a microSD card facilitates data and program storage.
