PLC Controller with Virtual HMI – a versatile solution for automation
The UniStream B5 TR22 controller is a compact device combining the functionality of a PLC controller and a virtual HMI panel. This is an ideal solution for both professional installers and end-users looking for an efficient and flexible control system. The device offers 10 digital inputs, 2 analog inputs, 2 transistor outputs (including 2 PWM) and 8 relay outputs, providing wide configuration and adaptation possibilities for various applications. Additionally, the built-in UniCloud service for 5 years enables remote access and system monitoring.
Functionality and expansion possibilities
This controller stands out for its versatility thanks to the built-in communication ports: two Ethernet ports, a USB host port, a USB device port and the possibility of expansion with additional RS232, RS485 and CAN ports. It supports popular communication protocols such as CANopen, CAN Layer2, MODBUS, EtherNetIP, RS232/485, TCP/IP and MQTT. Remote access to the controller is possible via VNC, as well as integration with HMI panels of the USL or USP series. This allows for flexible adaptation of the system to specific project needs.
Construction and technical parameters
The UniStream B5 TR22 controller is characterized by a solid construction and a wide operating temperature range (-20°C to 55°C), which ensures reliable operation even in harsh industrial conditions. It has 512MB of RAM and 3GB (system) + 1GB (user) of ROM, allowing for the storage of complex programs and data. The IP20/NEMA1 protection class guarantees safe use in environments with limited exposure to external factors. It is worth mentioning the built-in functions such as trends, meters, auto-tune PID, data tables and recipes – all of which facilitate the creation of advanced control applications. Built-in alarms compliant with ANSI/ISA increase installation safety.
