The PLC controller with a text HMI panel from the Jazz series is a versatile device, ideal for automating various processes. It is characterized by a compact design and high resistance to environmental conditions – an IP66 protection class housing ensures reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments. This solution is proven in industries such as water and sewage, food processing, and machine service.

Functionality and capabilities

This model is equipped with 9 digital inputs (including 1 fast 5kHz), 7 digital outputs (2 transistor, 5 relay), 2 analog inputs, 2 temperature inputs (PT100/TC), and 2 analog outputs. This combination allows for flexible adaptation of the controller to the specifics of the application and support for a wide range of sensors and actuators. The integrated text display with two lines of 16 characters and 16 function keys enables intuitive operation and process monitoring. Programming is done via a mini USB port, ensuring convenience and speed of configuration.

Construction and parameters

The controller uses 24KB of memory for ladder program, allowing for the implementation of complex control algorithms. It supports up to 256 coils, 256 registers, and 64 timers. The built-in battery ensures maintenance of the program and data for at least 10 years at a temperature of 25°C. The controller is powered by a 24VDC voltage. Thanks to the possibility of expansion with additional I/O modules (e.g., via Modbus TCP/IP or Ethernet/IP protocol), the system can be easily adapted to changing needs.

Additionally, it is worth mentioning the possibility of using a dedicated GSM/GPRS module, which expands the functionality of the controller with remote access and monitoring.
