The pipe is made of durable cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa), which provides resistance to high temperatures and pressures. The corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE protects the pipe from mechanical damage and facilitates its installation.

Construction and properties

The construction of the ECOFLEX Quattro pipe has been carefully designed for ease of installation and long-term operation. Four inner pipes (two with a diameter of 32 mm and two with a diameter of 25 mm) are surrounded by a layer of PE-X foam with a thermal conductivity coefficient of only 0.04 W/(m.K). This ensures minimal energy loss, which translates to lower heating bills. The protective pipe made of polyethylene (HDPE) is corrugated, which facilitates its installation and protects against mechanical damage. The thickness of the inner pipe walls has been selected to ensure resistance to working pressure of up to 10 bar for DHW and 6 bar for CH, and the maximum medium temperature can reach up to 95°C (short-term). Min. bending radius is 800 mm, which allows for flexible routing of the installation even in difficult conditions.
