The pipe is made of cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xa) with high resistance to temperature and pressure, and the PE-X foam insulation ensures minimal heat loss and compensation for thermal expansion. The corrugated outer jacket made of HDPE protects the pipe from mechanical damage and weather conditions.

Construction and properties

The Ecoflex Varia system is characterized by flexibility and ease of installation. The pipes comply with PN-EN 15632, which guarantees their high quality and safety. It is worth paying attention to several key construction elements:

• PE-Xa inner pipe: Provides pressure resistance up to 6 bar and resistance to high temperatures – short-term up to 90°C, continuous up to 80°C. This material is also resistant to corrosion and cracking.
• PE-X foam insulation: Minimizes heat loss thanks to a thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.04 W/(m.K). The foam is flexible, permanently retains its insulating properties and does not absorb water.
• Corrugated HDPE jacket: Protects the pipe from mechanical damage during transport and installation and provides resistance to weather conditions. The corrugated surface makes it easier to locate any damage.
• Color coding: Supply and return pipes are color-coded to facilitate correct installation and later identification in the installation.
