Uponor Combi Pipe is a ready-to-install multilayer pipe consisting of a PEX tube surrounded by a thermal insulation layer and a protective sheath. It is designed for both underfloor heating systems and traditional heating systems, as well as water installations. Manufactured from high-quality materials, it ensures reliability and long-term performance.

Construction and properties

The pipe is constructed using multilayer technology, combining the advantages of different materials. The inner layer, made of PE-X (cross-linked polyethylene), provides resistance to high temperatures (up to 95°C for short periods) and pressure (up to 10 bar). The middle layer of EVOH acts as an effective oxygen diffusion barrier, preventing oxygen ingress into the system and protecting metal components from corrosion. The outer PE-X layer ensures mechanical strength and flexibility, enabling easy installation even under challenging conditions. Additionally, the pipe features a 10 mm thick thermal insulation layer with an outer diameter of 48 mm, minimizing heat loss and preventing condensation. The protective sheath enhances resistance to mechanical damage during transport and installation.
