Universal multilayer pipe for water and heating installations

The Uponor Combi Pipe in a corrugated hose, with a diameter of 22 mm and a wall thickness of 3 mm, is a versatile solution for building water supply and heating installations. Available in white, it is supplied in a convenient roll of 50 meters. The pipe's four-layer construction ensures its high strength and reliability.

This pipe combines the advantages of flexibility and resistance to high temperatures – it can operate with a medium temperature of up to 95°C (short-term) and maintains its shape with a minimum bending radius of 176 mm. It is worth noting the presence of an anti-diffusion barrier, which protects the installation against corrosion.

Construction and properties

The Combi Pipe consists of three layers of PE-Xa (cross-linked polyethylene) and a central layer of EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol). The EVOH layer effectively limits the penetration of oxygen into the installation, which is crucial for protecting metal components from corrosion – particularly important in heating systems. The use of PE-Xa ensures high flexibility and resistance to mechanical damage. Sleeves with a diameter of 34 mm facilitate quick and tight installation.

Thanks to a coefficient of expansion of 0.14 mm/(m.K), the pipe copes well with temperature changes, minimizing the risk of stress in the installation. The maximum working pressure at 20°C is 10 bar, which guarantees safe operation of the system. The pipe meets the requirements of DIN 4726 and ISO 17455 standards regarding oxygen permeability.
