The Uponor Comfort Pipe Plus pipe with a diameter of 17x2.0 mm and a length of 240 meters is a high-quality solution for underfloor heating, water supply, and heating systems. Made of five layers, including an EVOH anti-diffusion barrier, it provides durability and corrosion resistance. The flexibility of the material makes installation easier, even in complex installation arrangements.

Construction and properties

The Comfort Pipe Plus pipe stands out with its unique construction, which combines the advantages of different materials. The inner layer made of PE-Xa (cross-linked polyethylene) provides a smooth surface and resistance to high temperatures (up to 100°C for a short time). The middle layer with EVOH effectively prevents oxygen diffusion into the installation, protecting metal elements from corrosion. The outer layer made of PE (polyethylene) provides resistance to mechanical damage and UV radiation. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the pipe is 0.14 mm/(m·K), which should be taken into account when designing the installation. The pipe wall thickness is 2 mm, and the minimum bending radius is 85 mm – this is important information for installers when shaping the pipe.
