Construction and Properties

The pipe consists of five layers, ensuring exceptional performance. The inner layer, made of PE-Xa (cross-linked polyethylene), guarantees high resistance to temperature and pressure while minimizing scale buildup. The middle layer, made of EVOH (ethylene-vinyl alcohol), acts as an anti-diffusion barrier, preventing oxygen ingress into the system and protecting metal components from corrosion. The outer layer, made of polyethylene (PE), provides protection against mechanical damage and external environmental factors.

The pipe’s coefficient of thermal expansion is 0.14 mm/(m·K), which is critical when designing floor heating systems—it allows for compensation of length changes due to temperature fluctuations, minimizing stress and potential damage. The maximum operating pressure at 20°C is 6 bar, with a maximum short-term medium temperature of 100°C. The minimum bending radius is 100 mm, facilitating shaping during installation.
