Construction and Properties

The pipe consists of four layers, contributing to its exceptional properties. The inner and outer layers, made of PE-Xa, guarantee resistance to corrosion and high temperatures. The middle layer, composed of EVOH plastic, acts as an oxygen diffusion barrier, preventing oxygen ingress into the heating system — a critical feature for protecting system components from corrosion. Additionally, the pipe exhibits high flexibility and a coefficient of thermal expansion of 0.14 mm/(m·K), minimizing thermal stresses in the installation.

Uponor Radi Pipe is designed for operation at a maximum working pressure of 6 bar and short-term medium temperatures up to 100°C. The minimum bending radius is 125 mm, facilitating adaptation to complex installation layouts. The white color of the pipe enhances visibility during installation and operation.
