Intelligent underfloor heating and cooling control

The Uponor Smatrix Base Pulse starter kit is a comprehensive solution for wired temperature control in rooms with underfloor heating or cooling. The system combines user comfort, energy efficiency and ease of installation, as well as the possibility of expansion. The kit allows you to control up to 4 controllers in one system, offering precise temperature control in each room.

Functionality and possibilities

At the heart of the system is the Pulse X-245 Bus 6X controller, which supports up to 6 room thermostats and 8 actuators (24V) per controller. The autobalance function automatically optimizes energy consumption, ensuring thermal comfort. Additionally, the system offers relative humidity control and the ability to choose different wiring methods – serial, star or mixed. Communication is via an RS485 serial bus. The kit is compatible with the Uponor Smatrix Base Pulse X-245 Bus 6X controller.

Integration and remote access

Thanks to the R-208 communication module (available separately), the kit can be integrated with smart home ecosystems such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home or IFTTT. This enables remote access to the system via the Uponor Smatrix Pulse application (requires internet connection) and analysis of historical energy consumption trends. If there is no local Wi-Fi, a temporary Wi-Fi access point is available. The system also provides the possibility of remote technical support after granting appropriate permissions to the user.
