Uponor Uni Pipe PLUS in coil 16 x 2.0 mm is a comprehensive solution for water supply and heating installations, including underfloor heating systems. Made of five layers – including a seamless aluminum layer – it provides high dimensional stability, flexibility and resistance to oxygen diffusion. This protects the installation from corrosion and extends its lifespan. Supplied in a coil of 75 meters, it simplifies installation and minimizes the number of connections. The red outer coating facilitates identification of the pipe's intended use.

Construction and properties

The Uni Pipe PLUS pipe is characterized by a unique construction that combines the advantages of metallic and plastic materials. The aluminum layer provides high pressure resistance and tightness, while the polyethylene (PE-RT II) layers guarantee flexibility and temperature resistance up to 95°C (short-term). The anti-diffusion zone effectively prevents oxygen from penetrating the installation, which is crucial for protecting metal components from corrosion. In addition, the pipe has a socket with a diameter of 25 mm, which facilitates connection to other elements of the Uponor system.
