Water softener for continuous operation – a reliable source of treated water
This dual-column water softener with a 1.25" connection and a Clack controller is a solution for demanding installations where uninterrupted supply of water with appropriate quality is crucial. It is ideal for multi-family buildings, hotels, guesthouses or workplaces, eliminating downtime related to regeneration. The TWIN ALTERNATING design ensures continuous operation – while one column undergoes the regeneration process, the other remains on standby, providing softened water.
User comfort and advanced technology
The water treatment station is equipped with an intuitive controller from the American company Clack, which simplifies programming of regeneration parameters. Operation is simple and resembles the configuration of standard single-column stations. The controller has a permanent EPROM memory backup and offers a Polish menu. Additionally, the diagnostic system allows analysis of the device's operating history for up to 60 days.
Construction and characteristic features
The softener is characterized by a solid construction with two columns with a large capacity of softening resin (150 liters per column). The built-in bypass valve allows easy installation and servicing without interrupting the water supply. The external salt tank with a capacity of 200 liters minimizes the frequency of replenishing the regenerant. The maximum flow rate of 6.8 m³/hour and the ion exchange capacity of 426 dH (per single column) guarantee efficient operation even in large installations. The device is adapted to cooperate with the sewage system – the discharge of rinse water can be directed, for example, to the siphon under the sink. The dimensions of a single bottle are 41 x 165 cm (diameter x height), and the controller 22 x 34 cm (height x depth). The average salt consumption per regeneration is approximately 22.5 kg.
