This nickel-plated ball valve from the ONYX series is a solid connecting element designed for use in cold and hot water supply installations and in water heating systems. It serves as a shut-off valve, allowing effective closing and opening of the flow. The design with a drain valve facilitates emptying sections of the installation, which is particularly useful during maintenance or repairs. The throttle with a steel lever ensures precise adjustment and reliable sealing.

Construction and materials – durability and resistance

The valve is made of high-quality brass CW617N, guaranteeing strength and corrosion resistance. The valve ball, also made of brass, ensures smooth operation and tightness. The polished surface of the ball minimizes flow resistance. Thanks to the use of materials resistant to high temperatures (up to 95°C for some sizes), the valve can be used in heating installations. The nickel-plated steel handle provides comfortable use and an aesthetic appearance.

Application and functionality – versatility in practice

The ONYX valve finds wide application in both domestic and industrial installations. The built-in drain valve allows easy emptying of sections of the installation, which facilitates servicing and repairs. The compensating throttle ensures stable valve operation even under changing pressure conditions. BSPP (tapered gas) external thread allows easy installation in standard installations. Pressure class PN 16 (maximum working pressure 16 bar) ensures safe operation. It is worth remembering that for larger diameters (above 1 inch) the maximum working pressure drops to PN 16 bar.
