Suction strainer for check valves – reliable installation protection

The suction strainer, made of stainless steel 304 (1.4301), is an essential element for protecting check valves against contamination in water installations. Construction and application

The suction strainer with a nominal diameter of 1/2 inch (DN15) is designed for mounting in front of a check valve. Its task is to stop contaminants such as sand, rust or other small solid particles that could damage the valve or cause it to malfunction. The connection length is 42 mm. The housing material is stainless steel, and the strainer itself is made of stainless steel 304 (1.4301). The cleaning system is based on the possibility of flushing the strainer with a drain, which facilitates its maintenance and keeping it clean. The maximum working pressure is 25 bar.
