The 250 mm diameter axial duct fan is a solution dedicated to installations requiring efficient airflow in general ventilation systems. The device is suitable for large production halls, warehouses, and distribution centers, as well as smaller commercial buildings, garages, or breeding facilities. A key structural feature is the ability to mount the fan in any position – horizontal or vertical – which significantly facilitates integration with existing ductwork of various layouts. Airflow is directed from the impeller toward the motor (HB version), which is the standard for most industrial and commercial applications.

Construction and Resistance to Environmental Conditions

The robustness of the construction is ensured by materials selected for durability under demanding operating conditions. The impeller, made of aluminum sheet, has undergone dynamic balancing in accordance with ISO 1940-1, resulting in quieter operation and reduced vibrations during long-term use. The housing, made of steel sheet, features multi-layer anti-corrosion protection: cataphoretic priming followed by a polyester coating. This combination of protective measures allows the device to operate stably even in environments with increased humidity or dust presence. The terminal box is located directly on the housing, simplifying the electrical installation process for installers.

The device is designed to operate with a medium temperature ranging from -40°C to +40°C (for 250 mm diameter models), making it a universal component of ventilation systems regardless of the season or the specific technological process within the room.

Electric Motor and Control Capabilities

The TCBT model is equipped with a three-phase asynchronous motor operating at 230/400 V or 400 V (depending on the network configuration) and a frequency of 50 Hz. The IP 54 protection rating ensures effective protection against dust and water splashes, while insulation class F guarantees thermal resistance of the motor under higher loads. Importantly, for installers and users aiming to optimize energy consumption, the three-phase motor allows for frequency control via a variable frequency drive (VFD). This enables precise adjustment of the fan's performance to current ventilation needs without the necessity of using additional voltage reactors (which is also available for single-phase versions, though with certain model-specific exceptions).

In practice, this means a two-pole motor construction achieving a rotational speed of approximately 2775 rpm. Under maximum load conditions, the device delivers an airflow of approximately 1730 m³/h at a static pressure of about 62 Pa, consuming around 114 W of power. The noise level at the point of highest efficiency remains low, at approximately 8 dB(A). These parameters ensure that the TCBT/2-250/HB fan offers a high performance-to-power-consumption ratio, while its compact dimensions allow for easy concealment within suspended ceilings or technical shafts without the need to construct large ventilation chambers.
