Purpose and Application
The TCBT 4 355/HB axial fan is designed for general ventilation of industrial and utility spaces – it is ideally suited for installation in warehouses, storage facilities, production halls, workshops, parking garages, greenhouses, or poultry houses. Its ducted construction allows direct connection to ducts with a diameter of 355 mm, without the need for additional adapters or complex mounting systems.
Construction and Durability
The impeller, made of aluminum, is dynamically balanced in accordance with ISO 1940-1, ensuring stable operation at high speeds and minimizing vibrations. Airflow proceeds from the impeller toward the motor (designation HB), protecting the motor from direct exposure to dust, moisture, and other contaminants – particularly important in industrial environments. The housing is electrocoated with a primer and covered with a polyester layer, providing corrosion resistance. Stainless steel fastening elements enhance durability during installation and operation.
The three-phase motor (230/400 V, 50 Hz) has an IP54 protection rating and insulation class F – resistant to dust and moisture, but not intended for exposure to direct water jets. It can be controlled via frequency inverter, allowing performance adjustment to meet changing ventilation needs – e.g., reducing speed during night hours or under lower air loads.
Operating and Service Conditions
The fan handles media with temperatures ranging from -40°C to +40°C, making it suitable for unheated winter halls or locations with large temperature fluctuations. It requires no special maintenance or frequent inspections – its simple design and material resistance enable long-term operation without intervention. Mounting is standard: flanges are ready for connection to 355 mm diameter pipes, and the construction allows both horizontal and vertical installation. It is not intended for conveying flammable gases or highly aggressive chemical substances.
