Purpose and Application
The TCBT 4 630/LB axial fan is a solution for general ventilation installations in spaces requiring high volumetric air exchange. It operates effectively in production halls, warehouses, distribution centers, parking lots, commercial premises, greenhouses, and breeding facilities – wherever constant and reliable air circulation is needed. Horizontal or vertical mounting allows for flexible adaptation to existing ventilation infrastructure.
Construction and Durability
The impeller, made of aluminum sheet, is dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940-1 – ensuring stable operation at high speeds and minimizing vibrations. The steel sheet housing is protected against corrosion via cataphoretic painting with a primer and polyester topcoat – crucial for long-term operation in humid or aggressive environments. Fastening elements are made of stainless steel, further enhancing resistance to external conditions. Airflow occurs from the impeller to the motor (HB), protecting the motor from direct exposure to contaminated air.
Operating Conditions and Electrical
The device handles discharged medium temperatures from -40°C to +70°C – making it suitable for both cold warehouses and rooms with high thermal loads. The three-phase motor (230/400V 50Hz) has an IP65 protection rating and Class F insulation – indicating resistance to dust, moisture, and short-term current surges. It is ready for frequency regulation (via inverter), allowing precise performance control without the need to replace the unit. The 4-630/H version does not support voltage regulation – only frequency regulation.
Performance and Installation
Maximum performance is 17 030 m³/h at 1400 rpm – achieved at a low noise level (70 dB(A)). Housing dimensions (Ø725 mm) allow for easy installation in standard ventilation ducts with a 630 mm diameter. The terminal box on the housing facilitates quick connection of pipes or ducts. Mounting in a horizontal or vertical position does not affect performance – the device operates identically in both configurations.
