The TCBT/4 EX ATEX 560/HB fan is a special COMPACT version designed in accordance with Directive 94/9/EC ATEX for equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres. Its construction requires no additional protective measures—it is ready for installation in hazardous zones without modification.

The housing, made of steel sheet, is protected by cataphoretic coating and a polyester paint layer, ensuring corrosion resistance in industrial conditions. Fastening elements are made of stainless steel, eliminating the risk of degradation in environments with elevated humidity or the presence of chemical substances.

The aluminum sheet impeller is dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940-1, guaranteeing stable operation at high speeds and long-term reliability. Airflow occurs from the impeller to the motor (HB), allowing natural motor cooling by the flowing medium without the need for additional ventilation ducts.

Protection class IP55 and insulation class F are standard parameters for this version, providing resistance to dust, moisture, and overheating—critical in industrial environments. PG-11 cable glands are not installed; the absence of connection openings eliminates potential pathways for gases or sparks to enter the device interior.

Installation is possible in both horizontal and vertical positions, offering installation flexibility to adapt to existing ducts without modifying the system layout. The operating medium temperature range for this model is from -20°C to +55°C, specified for fans with diameters between 315–630 mm, to which this unit belongs.
