Axial fan TCBT 6 500/HB ducted, aluminum impeller 41520615
Application and Operating Characteristics
The TCBT 6 500/HB axial fan is a device dedicated to duct installations where efficient air exchange in large spaces is crucial. Its construction allows for mounting in both horizontal and vertical configurations, significantly facilitating integration with existing ventilation systems in production halls, warehouses, parking facilities, or commercial premises. Thanks to its 400V three-phase motor with 6 poles, this model generates an airflow rate of up to 7630 m³/h, making it an effective solution for buildings with large volumes.
Special attention should be paid to the airflow direction indicated by the symbol HB – this means that the air stream moves from the impeller towards the motor. This configuration is standard in duct versions and contributes to optimizing winding cooling during operation. The device is suitable not only for general ventilation but also for breeding facilities (e.g., pigsties, poultry houses) and greenhouses, where constant air circulation with specific parameters is required.
Construction and Resistance to Environmental Conditions
The robustness of this fan results from the use of materials resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. The housing is made of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet, additionally protected by cathodic primer painting and a polyester paint layer. This enables the device to operate in more demanding environmental conditions without the risk of rapid coating degradation.
A key structural element is the impeller made of aluminum sheet. Its blades are dynamically balanced according to the ISO 1940-1 standard, which directly translates into quieter operation and reduced vibration transmission to the duct system. The electric motor has an IP 65 protection rating, ensuring dust tightness and protection against water jets – important for installations in humid environments or where regular cleaning of the system is required. Thermal insulation class F allows safe operation even at elevated ambient temperatures.
Regulation Capabilities and Operating Conditions
The device is designed to offer operational flexibility. The three-phase motor enables frequency regulation via a variable frequency drive (recommended model RMT-1,5), allowing precise adjustment of performance to current ventilation needs without the need to replace the entire unit. This is particularly useful in centrally controlled systems or those requiring flow modulation.
The temperature range of the conveyed medium is from -40°C to +70°C, enabling the fan to be installed not only in standard utility rooms but also in industrial facilities where air temperature may exceed typical indoor conditions. The connection box is located directly on the housing, simplifying the electrical connection process for the installer. It should be noted that for this model, the use of an RMT-1,5 type regulator or a suitable variable frequency drive with a minimum power of 0.4 kW is recommended to ensure stable operation under full load.
In practical operation, important parameters include a rotational speed of approximately 920 rpm resulting from the 6-pole motor design, and a supply voltage of 230/400 V or 400 V at a frequency of 50 Hz. The entire construction is based on a dynamically balanced aluminum impeller and a steel housing with a corrosion-resistant polyester coating, while the HB airflow direction (from impeller to motor) has been optimized for duct applications.
