Intended Use and Application
The TCBT 6 630/HB axial fan is designed for general ventilation of commercial and industrial premises. It is suitable for applications requiring constant air exchange without the need for high pressure – e.g., in wholesale warehouses, storage facilities, production halls, parking garages, retail spaces, greenhouses, or poultry houses. Horizontal or vertical mounting allows flexible adaptation to existing ventilation infrastructure.
Construction and Durability
The rotor, made of aluminum sheet, is dynamically balanced in accordance with ISO 1940-1, ensuring stable operation at high speeds and minimizing vibrations. The steel sheet housing is protected against corrosion through cathodic electrocoating with a primer and polyester paint – a solution that enhances durability in aggressive environments such as workshops or industrial halls. Airflow occurs from the rotor to the motor (designation HB), protecting the motor from direct exposure to contaminated air.
Motor and Operating Conditions
The three-phase motor, designed for 400 V / 50 Hz, features an IP65 protection rating and Class F insulation – ensuring resistance to dust, moisture, and short-term current surges. The temperature of the discharged medium can reach up to +70°C, making it suitable for rooms with high thermal loads – e.g., where heat is generated by machinery or during summer seasons. Frequency control capability (via inverter) allows adjustment of performance to current ventilation needs.
Installation and Operational Advantages
- Mounting in any position – horizontal or vertical – without requiring installation modifications.
- Junction box integrated into the housing – simplifies duct connection.
- No need for additional motor shielding thanks to IP65 – no external enclosure required.
- The standard version does not include stainless steel components – however, this does not affect functionality under typical operating conditions.
- Voltage regulation is not supported – only frequency regulation (via inverter), which is standard for modern ventilation systems.
The fan is not intended for use in explosive hazard zones (no ATEX marking). There is also no option for airflow from motor to rotor (HA) – this configuration is available only in other models.
