It is worth noting the specific airflow in the model marked with the HB symbol – air flows from the impeller towards the motor. This arrangement is justified by protecting the drive from direct contact with contaminated media or high temperatures of the discharged stream. The device operates stably across a wide range of ambient and medium temperatures: from -40°C to +40°C for 800 mm diameter models, making it useful even in harsh climatic conditions or unheated warehouse halls.
Construction and resistance to external conditions
The durable construction of the device is based on solid materials that guarantee a long service life even under continuous operation. The impeller is made of aluminum sheet and has undergone a dynamic balancing process according to the ISO 1940-1 standard. This reduces vibrations during operation at rotational speeds up to 970 rpm, which translates to a lower noise level (approx. 68 dB(A)) and less bearing load. The steel casing is protected against corrosion using the cataphoresis method (primer) and is coated with a polyester paint layer. This solution protects the device from moisture and chemicals present in industrial environments.
The electric motor is a three-phase asynchronous unit (230/400 V), offering high thermal insulation class F and an IP 55 protection rating. This means the drive is resistant to dust and water jets falling from various angles, which is crucial when washing halls or working in humid environments. The terminal box is located directly on the fan casing, facilitating electrical installation without the need for additional external switchgear for the device itself.
Key performance parameters
This fan is characterized by impressive flow parameters for its size class. It is a high-power device capable of moving a significant amount of air while maintaining moderate static pressure. The most important technical data can be summarized as follows: the device achieves a maximum capacity of 27 910 m³/h at a pressure of 165 Pa. It is driven by a motor with a power of 2345 W (approx. 2.3 kW), rotating at a speed of 970 rpm. The power supply is three-phase 400 V, and the current consumption does not exceed 5 A. The noise level generated during operation is 68 dB(A), and the total mass of the device is 80 kg.
Thanks to the possibility of frequency regulation (for three-phase motors), the installer can precisely match the device's capacity to the current ventilation needs of the facility, allowing for electricity savings and noise reduction during periods of lower load in the hall or warehouse. It should be remembered that despite the solid construction with a mass of 80 kg, installation requires proper preparation of mounting points and a stable base or supporting structure for the ventilation duct.
