Application and Operating Characteristics

The TCBT 4 710/HB axial fan is a device dedicated to high-volume airflow in ducted installations, where high performance is required while maintaining a compact design. Its primary function is general ventilation of large industrial and commercial spaces. Thanks to its design adapted for installation in rectangular or circular ducts, it is suitable for ventilation systems in:

  • production halls and warehouses,
  • underground and surface parking lots,
  • wholesale stores and logistics centers,
  • greenhouses and breeding facilities (e.g., pigsties, chicken coops),
  • commercial premises and workshops.

The device is characterized by a specific airflow direction – from the impeller towards the motor (designation HB). This solution is crucial for protecting the drive from contaminants carried in the air stream, which is significant in industrial environments. The fan operates efficiently with a medium temperature ranging from -40°C to +40°C, allowing its use even in difficult climatic or seasonal conditions.

Construction and Resistance to External Conditions

The robustness of this model results from the use of materials resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. The housing is made of hot-dip galvanized sheet steel, additionally protected by a primer layer and a polyester coating applied via cataphoretic painting. Such a coating ensures long-term protection even in humid environments. A key element is the impeller made of aluminum sheet, which has undergone dynamic balancing in accordance with ISO 1940-1. This ensures stable fan operation, generating minimal vibration and noise, which is particularly important at high rotational speeds (approximately 1460 rpm in this model).

The three-phase electric motor (according to the TCBT designation) has an IP55 protection rating, meaning full protection against dust and protection against water jets projected from any direction. Insulation class F guarantees resistance to high operating temperatures of the windings. It is worth noting that this motor is adapted for control via a frequency inverter in the frequency range of 25–50 Hz, giving installers flexibility in adjusting the fan's performance to the current needs of the facility without the need for additional voltage regulators.

Installation and Operational Parameters

The device was designed to facilitate its integration with existing ventilation installations. It is suitable for installation in both horizontal and vertical positions, increasing arrangement possibilities in tight technical spaces. A standard junction box is mounted on the housing, shortening the time required for electrical work during installation. Connecting elements are made of stainless steel, eliminating the risk of corrosion at mechanical connection points.

In the case of this model, it is worth noting specific performance metrics: maximum air volume reaches approximately 26,420 m³/h at an impeller rotational speed of approx. 1460 rpm. The three-phase motor consumes power of approx. 6.1 kW at a rated voltage of 400 V, generating a static pressure of approx. 73 Pa. The noise level during operation does not exceed 59 dB(A), making it acceptable for most commercial and industrial facilities. The permissible temperature range of the discharged medium is from -40°C to +40°C.

Thanks to a high performance exceeding 26 thousand m³/h and a moderate noise level (below 60 dB), this fan is an effective solution for facilities requiring rapid air exchange while maintaining acoustic comfort for personnel or residents of adjacent rooms. The use of a frequency inverter additionally allows for optimizing electricity consumption by adjusting the rotational speed to the actual ventilation demand at any given moment of the system's operation.
