The housing, made of powder-coated steel sheet, ensures resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage during transport and operation, and its white color (RAL 9010) allows for aesthetic integration into visible sections of the installation.

Thermal protections and operating conditions

Operational safety is a priority; therefore, the heater is equipped with a dual overheat protection system. The first element is an automatic thermostat that cuts off power upon reaching +75°C – it operates cyclically, restoring device operation after cooling down. The second level of protection is a manually reset safety device, which activates at +85°C and requires service intervention or user action after the cause of overheating has been resolved. Such a system prevents permanent damage to heating elements even in the event of controller failure or airflow dropping below the permissible level.

The device operates stably within an ambient temperature range from -20°C to +40°C, making it a universal solution for both industrial premises and commercial facilities. It should be noted that the maximum air temperature at the heater outlet must not exceed +40°C – this is crucial for maintaining installation safety and user comfort. The air flow velocity through the device must be at least 1.5 m/s; too slow a flow may lead to local overheating of heating elements despite the operation of safety devices.

Application and installation flexibility

The heater is ideally suited for mechanical supply ventilation systems where it is necessary to increase air temperature during the winter season or maintain a constant heat level in production and warehouse rooms. Thanks to three independent heating elements (each with a power of 1000 W), the device offers high efficiency with three-phase 400 V power supply, allowing for even heat distribution and reduced load on the electrical network compared to single-phase solutions with similar total power.

In practice, this means the device requires a connection with a diameter of 250 mm and a three-phase power supply of 3 x 400 V to ensure full power of 3 kW. To avoid errors during installation and operation, ensure an air flow velocity of at least 1.5 m/s and adhere to the ambient temperature range from -20°C to +40°C. Thermal protections activate appropriately at +75°C (automatic reset) and +85°C (manual reset), protecting heating elements from damage in emergency situations.

Device selection should consider not only the required heating power but also the air flow characteristic of the specific installation – too low a flow with high power may result in frequent activation of thermal protections. It is important to ensure adequate performance of the supply fan to maintain continuous air circulation through the heating elements and avoid overheating of internal components.
