PP-R pipes with fiberglass – durability and easy installation

VESBO FASER pipe is a composite structure made of polypropylene (PP-R) reinforced with fiberglass, designed for water and heating installations. The combination of the strength of plastic with the reinforcing properties of fiberglass ensures reliability and resistance to loads. The pipe is characterized by three layers: inner and outer layers made of PP-R type 3 and a middle layer made of fiberglass-reinforced PP-R, accounting for 1/3 of the wall thickness.

The VESBO FASER pipe design minimizes linear expansion compared to traditional PP-R pipes, which translates to installation stability and reduces thermal stress. This makes the pipe particularly recommended for use in central heating systems, where there are significant temperature fluctuations. It is worth noting that, unlike aluminum-stabilized pipes, when installing VESBO FASER, there is no need to remove the protective layer before welding – which significantly speeds up and simplifies the work for installers.

VESBO FASER pipes are produced in gray color, with an outer diameter of 50 mm and a wall thickness of 6.9 mm. Available in standard lengths of 4 meters, they meet the PN16 standard and have a dimension ratio of SDR7.4. The wall roughness at 0.007 mm provides a smooth flow of medium, limiting scale build-up and ensuring optimal hydraulic efficiency of the installation. The coefficient of linear expansion is 0.04 mm/(m·K). The nominal pipe diameter is DN40.
