This Virax Kompakt manual pressure testing pump is a versatile tool that will be useful for both installers and self-tests of tightness. The device is designed for leak tests of water installations – sanitary and heating. Its compact design and light weight make it easy to work in tight spaces, and its solid construction guarantees long-term use.

Design and functionality

The Virax Kompakt pump has been designed with ease of use and reliability in mind. It is equipped with a plastic tank that is lightweight and impact resistant, increasing the durability of the device. A long flexible hose (1.5 m) provides freedom of maneuver during testing. A precise 1.6 class pressure gauge with a clear 1 bar scale allows for accurate pressure reading.

A key feature of the pump is the patented Virax EA85 anti-scale protection system. It prevents the ball in the piston from blocking due to water with a high calcium content or other deposits – particularly important when working with various water sources. Additionally, a nylon filter on the suction pipe protects the pump mechanics and the customer's installation from contamination.

The ergonomic lever with Soft Touch® coating ensures comfortable work even during long-term tests, and the lever locking mechanism facilitates pump transport. The ability to draw fluids from an external tank increases flexibility, especially when there is no direct water connection. Pumping, testing and venting are done with one button – simple and effective!

Application and compatibility

The Virax Kompakt pump is perfect for testing the tightness of water, central heating and sanitary installations. It supports the following fluids: water, glycol (rinsing required after use) and oil (rinsing also required after use). It has a standard 1/2 - 3/8 inch connection. The tank capacity is 5 liters, and the maximum working pressure is 50 bar. The device is lightweight – it weighs only 3.65 kg, which facilitates transport and work in various conditions.
