Professional two-story connector for Ex installations

This WAGO two-story feed-through connector (catalog no. 2002-2202) has been specifically designed for applications in Ex e II explosion hazard zones. Thanks to the Push-in CAGE CLAMP® design, it enables fast and secure connection of solid conductors (0.25-4 mm²) and stranded conductors (0.25-2.5 mm²) without the need for tools.

Operating parameters and electrical compatibility

The device operates at a rated current of 24A and a voltage of 500V, making it suitable for most standard industrial installations. Spring terminals of the Push-in CAGE CLAMP® type ensure constant conductor pressure throughout the entire service life, eliminating the problem of loose connections typical of screw-type solutions.

Mounting is performed on a TH-35 mm DIN rail (both 35×15 and 35×7.5 mm profiles), which guarantees installation versatility in switchgear and junction boxes from various manufacturers.

Construction and materials resistant to industrial conditions

The housing is made of thermoplastic (polyamide), which is characterized by high mechanical resistance and dimensional stability across a wide operating temperature range up to 105°C. The gray color facilitates identification in multi-track installations.

The compact design with dimensions of 5.2×69.7×51.7 mm allows for dense packing in switchgear while maintaining easy access to mounting buttons.

Compliance with safety standards

The product has certified Ex-e explosion protection, enabling use in zones where explosive mixtures of gases or liquid vapors may occur. It meets the requirements of European standards for electrical equipment operating in potentially explosive environments.

Mandatory use of an end plate is required, which provides additional insulation and protection against accidental contact with live parts during service work or installation expansion.
