Universal clamp for steel and plastic pipes with acoustic insulation

The KSB2 clamp is a solid and versatile solution for mounting pipes with a diameter of 54 to 58 mm. Made of electrolytically galvanized steel, it provides durable corrosion protection, which is particularly important in demanding installation conditions. Its design with two screws and a quick-release mechanism simplifies installation, allowing the clamp to be closed quickly even with one hand.

Application and design features

The KSB2 clamp is designed for a wide range of applications. It will work well in industrial installations, as well as in public and residential buildings. The possibility of use with steel, aluminum, cast iron, copper and plastic pipes makes it an extremely versatile element. In addition, the EPDM rubber lining not only protects the pipes from mechanical damage, but also effectively reduces noise and vibrations transmitted by the installation – the damping reaches 21 dB(A), which complies with DIN 4109.

The clamp fits pipes with an outer diameter of 60 to 64 mm, eliminating the need to have many different types of clamps. The body made of steel with galvanic zinc coating ensures corrosion resistance and long-term reliability. The EPDM lining minimizes noise and vibrations, improving the comfort of using the installation. The quick-release mechanism allows for quick and convenient closing of the clamp with one hand. The ability to mount to various types of pipes – steel, aluminum, cast iron, copper and plastic – ensures versatility of application. The operating temperature range from -30°C to +120°C enables use in various environmental conditions.

The clamp has an internal M8/M10 thread and is mounted with a double screw. The EPDM lining is resistant to aging, which guarantees long-term effectiveness of acoustic insulation.
