This elbow with thread is designed for connecting multilayer PEX pipes in the Wavin Tigris M5 system. Made of brass, it provides a durable and reliable connection in plumbing and heating installations. Application and characteristics

The Tigris M5 elbow is used in central heating, domestic hot and cold water, and underfloor heating installations. It is fully compatible with PE-Xc/Al./PE multilayer pipes and the previous Wavin Tigris K1/M1 series. Its design allows pressing with five popular jaw profiles (U, Up, H, TH and B), which increases the flexibility of the installer's work and eliminates the need to invest in additional tools.

Construction and parameters

The elbow has a 1/2 inch (15) external thread and an outer diameter of the connecting pipe of 16 mm. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar at 20°C, and the continuous operating temperature range is 0-70°C. The surface protection in a raw state prepares for further processing or direct assembly. The Zeta value is 2.2, which affects the flow characteristics and reduces the risk of hydraulic shock. The wall thickness of the connection is 2 mm and 2.25 mm for the second connection, respectively, which guarantees the strength of the structure. The connection length is 25.5 mm for both ends of the elbow.
