The 40mm diameter electrofusion socket, in black, from the QuickStream (QS) series is a key element of the Wavin vacuum and gravity drainage system. Designed for joining polyethylene (PE-100) pipes with a nominal diameter of DN 40 and an outer diameter of 52mm, it provides a durable and tight connection resistant to external factors. The socket is intended for electrofusion welding, a technique that joins PEHD elements by generating heat at the point of contact. This creates a uniform connection with high mechanical strength.
