Design and practical application

The elbow is designed to create angular connections in water and heating installations made of PEX pipes. Its one-piece construction ensures tightness and ease of installation. The connection of the compression fitting with an internal BSPP-G thread (ISO 228-1) allows for flexible adaptation to various installation elements. A wrench size of 34 mm facilitates tightening the threaded connection. Application in underfloor heating systems, sanitary installations or irrigation systems – this is a versatile solution for professionals and demanding users.

Tigris M5 fittings are distinguished by innovative technologies that increase work comfort and ensure installation safety. The Acoustic Leak Alert function (acoustic leak detection) allows easy location of uncompressed connections during air pressure tests – a faulty fitting emits a loud sound (approx. 80 dB), making it easier to identify the problem. Additionally, the Defined Leak function allows visual control of tightness during water pressure tests. IN4SURE technology allows you to check the correct insertion of the pipe into the fitting before crimping, and OPTIFLOW ensures optimal flow thanks to the increased hydraulic cross-section. Compatibility with various crimping ring profiles (U, Up, H, TH and B) increases flexibility and minimizes costs associated with purchasing additional accessories. The elbow has a KIWA certificate confirming its quality and compliance with industry standards. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar at an operating temperature from 0 to 70°C.
