The elbow is designed for pipes with a diameter of 63 mm (DN 50) and can withstand a working pressure of up to 10 bar at 20°C and up to 6 bar at a maximum operating temperature of 85°C. Additionally, the presence of EPDM rubber seals ensures a tight connection.

Construction and installation – simple and effective

The M1 elbow is characterized by a simple construction that facilitates installation. It has clamping sleeves that allow for quick and secure connection with pipes. It is worth noting the presence of a control hole, which allows you to check the correct insertion of the pipe into the fitting, and point notches in the crimped sleeve, which stabilize the pipe and prevent it from falling out. The Leak Detection Function (DLF) before crimping further increases the certainty of a correctly made connection – it allows you to detect any problems before putting the installation into use.

The use of a hexagonal cross-section of the fitting stem minimizes the force required for crimping, which translates into comfort for the installer. The elbow also has a support collar, which increases the stability of the connection. It is an element of the Wavin Tigris M1 system, which means compatibility with other fittings from this series and the possibility of creating complex installations. An alternative to traditional Tigris K1 plastic fittings - ideal where greater mechanical strength is required.
