Solid connection in PP-R installations – elbow with external thread
This welded elbow with a 3/4 inch external thread is a reliable element for connecting polypropylene (PP-R) pipes with threaded fittings. It will work well in both water supply and heating installations, ensuring a tight and durable connection. The elbow's 90° design makes it easier to run installations in tight spaces, and the use of high-quality materials guarantees a long service life.
The elbow is made of PP-R polypropylene, which is characterized by corrosion resistance, high temperatures (up to 75°C) and working pressure up to 16 bar. The brass external thread provides a solid and tight connection with the fittings. The use of gaskets further increases safety and eliminates the risk of leaks.
Application and benefits for the installer and user:
- Versatility: ideal for connecting PP-R pipes with valves, filters, manifolds and other threaded fittings.
- Durability: high-quality materials ensure resistance to corrosion, high temperatures and pressure, which translates into a long service life of the installation.
- Quick installation: welded connection allows for quick and reliable installation without the need for additional tools (other than a welding machine).
- Tightness: the use of gaskets and precise workmanship guarantee a tight connection and eliminate the risk of leaks.
- Chemical resistance: PP-R polypropylene is resistant to many chemicals, making it an ideal material for sanitary and heating installations.
- Safety: maximum working pressure of 16 bar ensures safe operation of the installation.
The elbow has a nominal connection diameter of 1 DN 32 (outer pipe diameter 44 mm) and a nominal connection diameter of 2 3/4 inch (20) (outer pipe diameter 26 mm). The length of the welded connection is 35 mm, and the thread – 59 mm. The wall thickness of the PP-R pipe is 6 mm, and the thread – 4 mm. The Zeta value is 1.5, which affects the flow of fluid in the installation. The elbow is supplied in white and is designed for continuous operation at temperatures from 0 to 75°C.
