Elbow with female thread 25x1/2"x90° WT Wavin PPR 3087085
Elbow with thread for water and heating installations
This elbow with an internal thread is designed to connect polypropylene (PPR) pipes with threaded elements. Made of high-quality polypropylene (PP-R) and brass, it ensures a durable and tight connection in plumbing and heating systems. The elbow is ideal for both new installations and the modernization of existing ones.
Construction and application
The elbow connects a polypropylene pipe with a nominal diameter of DN 25 (corresponding to an outer diameter of 35mm) with a 1/2 inch (15mm) internal thread. The bending angle is 90 degrees, allowing the installation to be changed direction at a right angle. Nickel plating of the threaded connection surface provides corrosion resistance and facilitates assembly. The use of brass in the threaded connection guarantees mechanical strength and tightness.
The elbow is part of the Wavin PPR system, which is widely used in residential, administrative, office, industrial and agricultural construction. It can be used for the transport of both cold and hot water, as well as in central heating installations - provided that the manufacturer's recommendations regarding installation are followed.
Advantages and benefits
- Durability and reliability: the combination of PP-R and brass materials ensures long-term operation without the risk of leaks.
- Corrosion resistance: nickel plating of the thread protects against the effects of corrosive agents, which extends the life of the elbow.
- Wide application: ideal for plumbing, heating installations and central heating systems.
- Easy installation: welded/fused PP-R pipe connection and threaded connection allow for quick and easy installation.
- Safety for health: the materials used in production are harmless to health and approved for contact with drinking water.
- Low noise: installations made of PP-R are characterized by a low level of noise from flowing water.
- Low pressure loss: the smooth inner surface of PP-R pipes minimizes pressure losses caused by friction.
- Recyclability: the materials used in production are recyclable, contributing to environmental protection.
