Tigris PPSU Fittings – Reliability and Durability of Connections

The PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) compression fitting is a key element of the Wavin Tigris systems, providing secure and durable connections in water and heating installations. Made of high-quality materials, the fitting is characterized by corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and resistance to incrustation, guaranteeing a long service life of the installation – even up to 50 years. The use of a stainless steel crimp sleeve further strengthens the connection and ensures its tightness.

The fitting is compatible with 50 mm (DN 40) diameter pipes and has a compression socket for connection to other elements of the Tigris system. Its design is intended for easy installation and reliable operation. Thanks to the control holes, the installer can quickly check the correct seating of the pipe in the fitting, and the indentations in the sleeve prevent it from falling out. The Leak Detection Function (DLF) before crimping guarantees the detection of any errors during the pressure test.
