Water tee – reliable connection in the installation

This M1 tee with compression fittings, designed for water, is a solid element of the plumbing system. Made of brass, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. Suitable for use in water installations, both in residential and industrial construction. Its design allows connecting pipes of the same diameter, creating a branch in the installation.

Construction and application

The tee is characterized by three connections of the compression fitting type with a nominal diameter of DN 50 (63 mm outer diameter). This ensures a tight and durable connection with pipes of appropriate parameters. The brass construction with a raw surface finish guarantees corrosion resistance and long-term operation. Seals made of EPDM rubber further increase the tightness of the connections. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar at a temperature of 20°C, and also 6 bar at the maximum medium temperature.

The tee has a support collar, which increases the stability of the connection and prevents the pipe from sliding out of the compression fitting. The working length of the connections is from 15 mm to 20 mm, which facilitates adaptation to various installation configurations. The wall thickness of the connections is 6 mm, which provides adequate mechanical strength. The Zeta separation value according to DVGW W 575 standard is 0, which means no influence on electrical measurements in the installation. Additionally, the tee is compatible with water supply pipe systems and has a KIWA certificate confirming its compliance with applicable standards. The seal material used is monomeric ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EDPM).
