Multilayer PEX/AL/PE Pipes – Reliability and Versatility in Your Installation
The Tigris multilayer pipe with a diameter of 20x2.25 mm combines the advantages of plastics and metal, ensuring durability and flexibility of the installation. The construction consisting of five layers – cross-linked polyethylene (PE-Xc), aluminum and polyethylene (PE) – guarantees resistance to corrosion, high temperatures and pressure. The pipe is 100% anti-diffusion, which prevents air from entering the installation and maintains its efficiency for a long time.
The Tigris pipe is an ideal solution for both professionals and end users. Its light weight makes it easy to transport and install, and its flexibility allows for easy routing in hard-to-reach places. This reduces installation time and reduces the need for additional connecting elements. The pipe is compatible with Wavin Tigris K1 and M1 fittings systems, providing a wide choice of design options.
Application and benefits:
- Versatility: ideal for central heating, hot and cold water, underfloor heating and radiator connections.
- Corrosion resistance: thanks to the aluminum layer, the pipe is protected against corrosive agents, which extends its lifespan.
- No scale build-up: the smooth inner surface minimizes the risk of scale formation, ensuring a constant water flow and maintaining system efficiency.
- Flexibility and easy installation: the pipe is easy to bend, maintaining its shape, which facilitates installation even in complex systems.
- Durability and safety: has a sanitary certificate from PZH, a technical approval from COBRTI INSTAL and a DVGW certificate, confirming high quality and compliance with safety standards.
- Minimal thermal expansion: simplifies installation and reduces the risk of damage caused by temperature changes.
- Indifference to water: does not affect its quality or taste.
The Tigris pipe is characterized by high resistance to working pressure up to 10 bar at a maximum operating temperature of 70°C (short-term up to 95°C). The minimum bending radius without tools is 100 mm, and with a tool 80 mm. The water content in the pipe is 0.2 l/m. It is a halogen-free product with a DVGW quality mark for both water and gas. Thanks to its construction, it provides effective protection against oxygen diffusion into the heating installation.
