Wavin QuickStream vacuum roof drainage system

45° PEHD tee is part of the Wavin QuickStream system - a solution for vacuum drainage of flat roofs. The tee serves as a component that distributes the liquid flow between the individual branches of the installation.

Construction and material

The tee is made of high-density polyethylene (PEHD) - grade PE-80. All three connections are of the welded type (electrofusion or butt fusion). The connection surfaces remain in their raw state - without an additional protective coating at the weld joint.

The main connection (1) has an outer diameter of Ø110 mm with a socket length of 90 mm and a wall thickness of 4,2 mm. The second connection also accepts a Ø110 mm pipe, but offers a longer socket of 180 mm with a wall thickness of 3,5 mm. The third connection reduces the diameter to Ø90 mm while maintaining a full wall thickness of 4,2 mm and a socket length of 180 mm. All three connections correspond to a nominal diameter of DN 100.

The dimension ratio SDR is 33. The maximum working pressure at 20°C is 3,2 bar.

The tee is equipped with seals supplied in the kit - the parameter With seals confirms their presence.

Application and system compatibility

The component is designed for use with pipes and fittings from the QuickStream S12,5 series. The manufacturer provides full technical documentation including an ITB approval (KOT ITB-KOT-2020/1319 edition 2) and a technical approval for system mounting elements.

For mounting the tee, WAVIDUO PEHD QS electrofusion sleeves are used - the installation instructions are available as a separate manufacturer technical document. The tee does not have an air vent or drain valve - these are separate system components installed in other locations of the installation.

Certificates and compliance

The product has KOMO and KIWA certificates confirming compliance with current standards for plastic piping systems. It does not have UL, FM, or LPCB certificates. Manufactured in accordance with PN-EN 12666.

Black color is standard for PEHD fittings from this manufacturer - it facilitates identification and ensures UV resistance during storage on open yards.
