Wavin WT 110x15.1x4000 PN16 pipe is a system component made of polypropylene (PP-R), designed for the safe and durable distribution of drinking water, domestic hot water and in central heating systems. Construction and properties

The pipe is characterized by a wall thickness of 15.1 mm and a dimension ratio (SDR) of 7.4. Made of high-quality material, it provides resistance to corrosion, high temperatures and pressure. The coefficient of thermal expansion of the pipe is 0.15 mm/(m.K), which should be taken into account when designing the installation, especially those exposed to large temperature fluctuations. Low thermal conductivity (lambda = 0.24 W/(m.K)) minimizes heat loss in heating systems. The pipe is gray (RAL 0 color), which facilitates its identification in the installation. The lack of seals eliminates the risk of leaks at the connection points – crucial for the reliability of the entire system.

Application and installation

Wavin WT pipe is intended for use in installation systems carried out in accordance with industry standards. It can be used both in new buildings and during the modernization of existing installations. Welding is used to connect PP-R pipes, which ensures durable and tight connections. The pressure class PN20 means that the pipe is adapted to work at a maximum working pressure of up to 20 bar – this ensures safe use even in demanding conditions. The lack of beveling of the ends facilitates the preparation process for welding.
