PP-R pipe for water supply and heating installations

Wavin WT 110x15.1x4000 PN20 GF pipe is an installation system component made of polypropylene (PP-R), designed for transporting domestic hot and cold water and in central heating systems. It is characterized by high strength and corrosion resistance, guaranteeing long-lasting and trouble-free operation. The pipe length is 4 meters, and the nominal diameter is 110 mm with a wall thickness of 15.1 mm.

Construction and properties

Three-layer pipe, reinforced with fiberglass, which increases its stiffness and dimensional stability. This reinforcement reduces the impact of thermal expansion of the material, minimizing the risk of deformation and damage to the installation. The thermal conductivity coefficient of 0.24 W/(m.K) means that the pipe insulates the medium well, reducing energy losses in heating systems. The maximum working pressure of the pipe at 20°C is 20 bar – a parameter important for ensuring the safety of the installation. The white color makes it easier to identify the pipe in the installation.

Applications and installation

The Wavin WT pipe is designed for surface mounting. The possibility of use in water supply and heating installations makes it a universal solution for both residential and industrial construction. Thanks to its construction and properties, it is ideal for creating branches, straight connections and more complex installation systems. The pipe does not have a socket or cap – it requires the use of appropriate connecting fittings to make tight connections (available for separate purchase). The coefficient of thermal expansion of 0.035 mm/(m.K) should be taken into account when designing installations, especially those with a large length.
