PEHD elbow for rainwater drainage systems
This is a 90-degree segmented elbow made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE), designed for the construction of rainwater drainage systems. This product, offered by WAVIN as part of the QuickStream system, combines durability, ease of installation and high resistance to atmospheric conditions. It is ideal for both private and commercial installations.
Design and application
The elbow is made of PE-100, which guarantees high mechanical and chemical resistance. The segmented construction facilitates installation and allows for precise adaptation to the existing installation. Designed for connecting pipes with a nominal diameter of DN 200 mm and an outer diameter of 200 mm. The circumferential stiffness class SN4 and the dimension ratio SDR26 ensure adequate resistance to internal pressure, up to 6 bar at 20°C. The elbow is designed to operate in a wide temperature range, from 1°C to 90°C.
Advantages and benefits
- Quick installation: The QuickStream system, thanks to the segmented construction of the elbows, significantly reduces installation time.
- Durability and resistance: HDPE material is characterized by high resistance to impact, abrasion and chemical substances. The addition of UV stabilizers protects against the negative effects of sunlight.
- Lightweight: The low weight of the elements facilitates transport and installation.
- Flexibility: High-density polyethylene provides flexibility, minimizing the risk of damage during transport and operation.
- Versatility: Possibility of use in various atmospheric conditions and building types.
- Cost optimization: The QuickStream system allows reducing the total length of pipes and the number of inlets, which translates into material and financial savings.
- Compliance with standards: The product meets the requirements for safety and quality of building materials.
- Resistance to extreme weather conditions: The QuickStream system has been designed to efficiently drain water even during heavy rainfall.
This elbow is a solid element of the rainwater drainage system, which will ensure reliable operation for many years – both for a professional installer looking for effective solutions, and for an end user who appreciates durability and trouble-free operation.
