This Tigris M5 brass tee, with diameters of 20 mm, 1/2 inch, and 20 mm, is a reliable solution for connecting pipes in plumbing and heating systems. Design and application

This tee connects three pipes – two with a diameter of 20 mm (DN15) and one with a 1/2 inch BSPP internal thread (DN15). This allows for flexible connection of various installation elements, such as valves, pressure regulators, or sanitary fittings. The use of brass guarantees resistance to pressure up to 10 bar and temperature resistance up to 70°C (short-term up to 95°C). Therefore, the tee will be suitable for hot and cold water installations and central heating, including underfloor heating systems.

Functionality and safety

Tigris M5 fittings are distinguished by the innovative Acoustic Leak Alert function – acoustic leak detection. An uncompressed fitting emits a distinct whistle, making it easier to locate the problem during pressure tests. In addition, the tee has a clamping sleeve made of stainless steel, increasing the strength of the connection, and an EPDM gasket ensuring tightness. The support collar additionally protects the connection from the pipe slipping out. The wrench size is 27 mm, which facilitates installation.
