Polyethylene gas connection – a safe and durable solution

The polyethylene gas connection with a ball valve DN15 is a reliable element of the gas installation, ensuring a safe and compliant connection to the gas source. The construction of this connection combines the advantages of polyethylene (PE) pipe and steel elements, guaranteeing strength and corrosion resistance. Thanks to the use of an aluminum pipe guard and insulating foam, the PE pipe is protected from weather conditions, UV radiation and mechanical damage.

Construction and application

The connection consists of a PE/STEEL transition placed in an aluminum guard with an additional insulating layer. This construction provides not only protection against external factors, but also dimensional stability and long-term connection tightness. It is intended for connecting gas, e.g. to a regulator in a gas box. The connection length is 700 mm and the height is 1500 mm. Equipped with a DN15 ball valve allows easy shut-off of the gas supply if necessary.

WEBA gas connections undergo rigorous pressure tests at every stage of production, ensuring their complete tightness and safety of use. They meet the requirements of the National Technical Assessment of the Oil and Gas Institute INiG-PIB-KOT-2019/0013 – issue 1, which demonstrates compliance with applicable standards. The PE pipe is made of PE100RC SDR11, and the flange is made of P245GH compliant with PN-EN 1092-1+A1:2013-07.
