Cross-connection terminal (jumper), plug-in, red, 24 A, Number of poles: 10, Pitch in mm: 5.10, Insulated: Yes, Width: 48.7 mm, ZQV 2.5N/10 RD 2108910000
The ZQV 2.5N/10 RD jumper is used to distribute or multiply electrical potential between adjacent rail terminals - it enables connecting several terminals into one common circuit without the need for additional wires. Simply plug the jumper into the terminals to split the signal or voltage to multiple receivers.
Intended Use and Compatibility
Designed for use with Weidmüller A-series modular rail terminals with a rated cross-section of 2.5 mm². Plug-in mounting allows for quick and trouble-free installation and removal of the jumper without tools - useful during service work and switchgear modifications.
With ten poles, ten adjacent terminals can be connected simultaneously. However, the manufacturer states that for stability and temperature reasons, a maximum of 60% of the contact elements may be snapped off. It is worth keeping this in mind when designing connections.
Electrical and Mechanical Parameters
The jumper provides a rated operating current of 24 A and a rated voltage of 400 V. The insulation is made of Wemid plastic classified as UL 94 V-0 - a self-extinguishing, flame-retardant material.
Geometric dimensions: | Parameter | Value | |---|---| | Number of poles | 10 | | Pitch | 5.10 mm | | Width | 48.7 mm | | Length | 24.7 mm | | Height | 2.8 mm | | Mass | ~5.83 g |
The red insulation not only facilitates the identification of the signal path in the switchgear but also serves a protective function - the jumper is finger-safe, meeting operational safety requirements.
Operating Conditions and Certifications
Continuous operating temperature ranges from -60 °C to +130 °C, allowing for use in both cold industrial halls and high-temperature environments. Storage temperature: from -25 °C to +55 °C, ambient temperature during operation: from -5 °C to +40 °C.
The jumper has an Ex-e certificate (increased safety design confirmed) - it can be used in explosion-hazardous zones where components with an increased degree of safety are required.
The product is compliant with the RoHS directive - it does not contain SVHC substances above 0.1% by weight.
The commercial unit contains 20 pieces.
