Compatibility with Weidmüller terminal systems

The ZQV 1.5N/2 BL cross connector is used to implement cross-connections between poles in terminal blocks - it enables potential separation, signal transmission, and the construction of distribution busbars without the need for additional wires. The plug-in (plugged) mounting method allows for rapid installation and removal without tools, which accelerates installation and service work.

The product is designed to work with Klippon Connect A series terminal blocks (with PUSH IN technology) and Klippon Z. The ZQV series includes variants from 2 to even 50 poles in wire cross-sections from 1.5 to even 10 mm² - available in blue, orange, and red colors, allowing for logical marking of connection groups already at the control panel design stage.

A pitch of 3,50 mm ensures a compact layout on the DIN rail, and the two-pole design is ideal for creating potential bridges between adjacent terminals - for example, when distributing control voltage or building simple signaling circuits.

Materials and construction

The housing is made of Wemid - Weidmüller's proprietary material with high thermal and mechanical resistance. The UL94 V-0 flammability classification means that the material self-extinguishes after the flame source is removed - this is crucial in industrial applications where strict fire safety standards must be met.

The housing dimensions are 5,5 × 21,9 × 2,8 mm (width × height × depth), and the net weight is only 0,563 g, so the connector does not mechanically load delicate terminal blocks or the DIN rail.

The insulated design protects against accidental short circuits between adjacent poles - which is particularly important when routing many signals in a single control panel.

Operating parameters and standards

The rated continuous current of 17,5 A allows for use in both low-voltage control circuits (24 V DC / AC) and lighter supply circuits implemented by A series terminal blocks with a wire cross-section up to 1,5 mm².
