Construction and Materials

The product is made of Wemid material (polyamide PA66), which is characterized by high thermal resistance - the element operates in the range from -60°C to +130°C, and can be stored at temperatures from -25°C to +55°C. The orange housing provides electrical insulation and protection against accidental contact (shock protection). The flammability classification UL94 V-0 means that the material self-extinguishes after removal of the flame source - an important feature in industrial installations.

The connector has a plug-in design, which allows assembly and disassembly without tools. The overall dimensions are 48.7 × 24.7 × 2.8 mm with a weight of just 5.85 g, so it does not mechanically burden the terminals.

Operating Parameters and Safety

The ten-pole design allows simultaneous connection of ten terminals in a row. The rated current is 24 A, and the rated voltage is 400 V. However, the manufacturer specifies that for stability reasons, a maximum of 60% of the contact elements can be broken off - the rest must remain intact to maintain electrical continuity.

The connector has EEx e certification (explosion-proof design), which confirms its suitability for explosive atmospheres. It should be noted that using the connector reduces the permissible working voltage to 400 V, and after cutting - to just 25 V.

The element is designed for use with Weidmüller Klippon ZQV series feed-through terminal blocks - both disconnect and fuse terminal block types. The mounting pitch of 5.10 mm corresponds to the standard geometry of these terminals.
