Fast mounting of grounding conductors using PUSH IN technology

PE protective terminal designed for connecting and distributing grounding conductors in electrical installations on TS 35 (DIN TH35) rail. The PUSH IN technology eliminates the need for tools when connecting solid and stranded conductors - simply insert the conductor into the terminal, and the spring mechanism automatically ensures a secure connection. For stranded conductors, the use of ferrule connectors compliant with DIN 46228/4 is recommended.

The two-point terminal allows for the connection of two conductors with cross-sections from 0.14 mm² to 1.5 mm², covering typical ranges used in building and industrial installations.

Design and housing materials

The housing is made of Wemid - a polyamide thermoplastic developed by Weidmüller, which is characterized by high mechanical resistance and dimensional stability over a wide range of operating temperatures.

The green-yellow color complies with the international convention for marking protective conductors (PE), facilitating identification during installation and switchgear servicing.

Electrical parameters and environmental resistance

The rated operating voltage is 500 V AC/DC, and the permissible short-circuit current for a 1.5 mm² cross-section is 180 A. The impulse voltage strength reaches 6 kV, providing a safety margin in installations exposed to atmospheric and switching surges.

The operating temperature range from −60°C to +130°C allows for use in both industrial cold storage and high-temperature conditions - e.g., near heating elements or in switchgear exposed to sunlight.

The UL94 V-0 flammability class indicates a self-extinguishing material - it does not sustain combustion in the event of a fire.

The terminal meets the requirements of the IEC 60947-7-2 standard, which defines detailed parameters for protective terminals used in electrical equipment.
