Push-in Ground Terminal for DIN rails

Terminal block designed for connecting protective conductors (PE) directly to the mounting rail - it serves as a grounding distribution point in an electrical installation. The green-yellow color is the standard marking for protective earth conductors throughout Europe; it unambiguously indicates the equipotential bonding function and eliminates the risk of error during assembly or service work.

Push-in connection and supported wires

Push-in technology allows for rapid connection of both solid and stranded wires - simply insert the bare end of the wire into the terminal without using tools. For stranded wires without a ferrule or with one, the maximum cross-section is 4 mm², providing a certain margin of flexibility when selecting working conductors relative to the rated cross-section of the terminal itself (2.5 mm²). The wire stripping length should be 10 mm - the manufacturer has precisely specified this dimension for proper contact.

The terminal accommodates three connections on one level - allowing the ground to be distributed to several branches or connecting segments of protective rails without additional elements.

Construction and operating conditions

The housing made of Wemid thermoplastic ensures a UL94V-0 flammability rating - the self-extinguishing material does not sustain a flame after the ignition source is removed; this is crucial in industrial switchgear and applications requiring enhanced fire safety.

The contacts are made of hardened steel (resistant to mechanical loads) and tin-plated copper - a combination guaranteeing durable electrical contact and corrosion resistance in industrial conditions.

The operating temperature range from -60 °C to +130 °C makes the terminal suitable for both industrial cold storage and near heat-generating devices - typical outdoor installations or production halls do not pose a problem.

A rated voltage of 800 V AC and a rated current of 24 A allow for application in typical low-voltage distribution circuits.

Mounting and dimensions

A body width of 5.1 mm means a compact design - over one hundred such terminals can fit side-by-side on a standard TH-35 mm DIN rail in a conventional switchgear cabinet. The height of 66.5 mm and depth of 36.5 mm are typical dimensions for this class of products; they fit most panel enclosures and control cabinets.

Mounting on the TS35 rail is simple - one click and the terminal sits securely; disassembly requires a flat-head screwdriver to release the locking lever.
