Bourdon tube pressure gauge for precise low-pressure measurements
The 612.20 model Bourdon tube pressure gauge is a professional measuring instrument designed for monitoring low pressures in industrial and laboratory applications. Equipped with a stainless steel housing with a diameter of 100 mm, it ensures high resistance to environmental conditions and reading legibility thanks to the glass window.
Construction and materials
The device utilizes a proven Bourdon tube measuring system based on a Bourdon tube made of brass. This type of construction guarantees a linear relationship between the applied pressure and the deformation of the measuring element, which translates into a precise reading of pressure values.
The gauge housing is made of chrome-nickel steel (CrNi), providing excellent resistance to corrosion and mechanical damage. The "twist" type cover, also made of stainless steel, allows easy access to the internal mechanism during service or calibration.
The internal mechanism made of brass ensures long-term stability of metrological parameters and resistance to material fatigue during continuous operation.
Operating parameters and regulatory compliance
The pressure gauge operates in the range of 0÷16 kPa with an accuracy class of 1,6%, making it suitable for precise measurements requiring high reading resolution. The M20×1,5 type process connection located in the bottom position allows for easy installation in piping installations of various configurations.
The device meets the requirements of the EN 837-3 standard, confirming its compliance with European standards for pressure gauges used for low-pressure measurements. The housing protection rating IP54 provides effective protection against dust and water jets from any direction.
The system is intended for use with gaseous media that are dry and chemically non-aggressive towards the gauge's construction materials.
Industrial and laboratory applications
Thanks to its specialized design, the pressure gauge finds wide application in medical, vacuum, and environmental technologies. It performs excellently in laboratory applications for monitoring the content and filtration of various gaseous substances.
In industrial environments, the device can be used to control the parameters of technological processes requiring precise monitoring of low pressures. The design adapted for continuous operation ensures long-term stability of readings without the need for frequent calibrations.
This model is particularly recommended where high reading resolution and reliability of operation are required in difficult environmental conditions typical for industrial and research applications.
